Tombstone Pictures

"Here lies Lester Moore four slugs from a 44 no less no more."
"Here lies George Johnson hanged by mistake 1882 he was right we were wrong but we strung him up and now he's gone."
"Tom McLaury killed Oct. 26 1881." "Billy Clanton Tom McLaury Frank McLaury Murdered on the streets of Tombstone 1881."
"Frank McLaury killed Oct. 26, 1881."
"Unknown 1882 found in abandoned mine."
 Billy Clanton killed Oct.26, 1881."
"Eva Waters age 3 months." How sad!
This is a fraction of the cemetery...there were a lot of people from China here, and about half of the people's tombstones say 'Unknown.'
"John Heath taken from Country Jail and LYNCHED by Bristee Mak in Tombstone Feb. 22, 1884."
"Dutch Annie 1883." Dutch Annie was a famous outlaw, I think. I know that she was considered 'bad.'
The people who worked at the newspaper office had to find each separate letter and space and then put them into the sheet, then they would rub ink all over it, and put it into a huge press and they would press the ink onto the paper. Thank goodness for computers!
A hollow in the ceiling of the cave.
This amazing rock is clear enough so light can travel through it and it kind of glows.
A place in the mine where I have no intention of going anytime soon.
A setting for the comedy gun show.
A picture out of the car window on the way home...isn't it pretty?
